Quick week

This week has blown by pretty quickly and I am excited that Friday is around the corner. This week at Freedom it has been teacher appreciation week which means all of the Freedom staff got food in the staff lounge everyday! Pretty sweet if you ask me. Although I have only been at Freedom Elementary since March it is still nice to be appreciated!

Logan’s has been pretty slow but I have been working a lot because I don’t really feel like being home if Spencer is working. Spencer is loving his new job and just trying to adjust to the late hours, as am I.

Tomorrow we both have the night off and I am excited to finally see my husband this week. :)

Dear Spencer,

I love that you have a job and I am so happy you love it too. I just miss you all the time now.

Love ,

Ashley.

LA and Back

Last Sunday Spencer and I took a wirlwind trip to LA to see our newest nephew Beckett! We woke up at 6 after only 5 hours of sleep and left for LA. We got there at 10 ish and just sat like zombies on the couch while our 2yr old nephew Hamilton kept saying " Are you sleeping?" He was so cute. The family all arrived and we went to church for Beckett's baby blessing and after church Kate made these delicious taco salad things from Cafe Rio. Spencer and I brought up dessert. We were the last to leave after watching a movie with Alex, Kate, and Hamilton. Spencer and I drove back from 7-11pm. It was a tough drive because we were both so tired. I wish we could have stayed longer but the work week had to continue. bummer.
We had such a great time seeing family and being in the beauiful LA weather. I can't wait to go back and visit again. Maybe the next time will be Disnayland??? I'll cross my fingers

Car trouble

I have been having the worst luck with my cars. On Monday when I was leaving work I heard a funny noise when I was pulling out of the parking lot. I pull over and my tire is FLAT! I turned around and headed back inside to find someone to help me. A few people from work were able to change my tire and put on my spare. It's a good thing because I didn't even know I had one. ( If you are wondering where my husband was in all of this, he was working...luckily his work is literally across the street).  Spencer was off of work by the time the tire was changed so he could drive the car with the spare home.

Today we went to get the tired repaired and they would not repair it because they said we need new tires! ughh.
